Kaolin Haemostatic Gauze

The GME Kaolin Haemostatic Gauze is a specialized product for effective wound care and tamponade in the case of heavily bleeding injuries. This 7.5 x 370 cm long gauze is coated with kaolin, an active ingredient that actively promotes blood clotting.

The combination of mechanical pressure from the tamponade and the coagulation-promoting effect of kaolin enables rapid hemostasis. A woven-in blue thread makes the gauze X-ray visible and thus facilitates localization in deeper wounds.

The gauze is sealed sterile in a robust, vacuum-packed package. Two easy-to-open points allow quick access in an emergency, even when wearing gloves.
